Is the free plan a trial?

No. It has no time limit and does not ask for a card. Two projects and two clients, for as long as you want them.

What happens to my data if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted or locked. Plan limits gate growth, not existing data, so a workspace over its limit stays fully editable and can shrink. You just cannot add more until you are back under.

What are AI credits?

AI credits are used only when Freshlance asks AI to analyze or generate something, such as creating a project from a brief or checking a scope request. Normal capacity calculations, time tracking, projects and invoicing do not use AI credits.

How many AI credits do I get?

Free includes 20 AI credits each month. Pro includes 250. Included credits reset with each monthly cycle.

Does Freshlance AI automatically change my projects?

Accepted Answer

No. AI-generated plans and re-estimates are suggestions you review before they change your project.

Does AI decide when I’m available?

Accepted Answer

No. Freshlance calculates availability from your working schedule, active projects, deadlines and remaining work. AI can help estimate the work, but the capacity calculation itself is deterministic.

When is Agency available?

Soon. Everything else on this page is live today — Agency is the one plan still being finished, so it cannot be bought yet. Pro has no limit on projects or clients, so nothing is gated behind waiting for it unless you need a second person in the workspace.

Why will Agency be the same price per seat as Pro?

Because a seat is a seat. Most tools charge a premium the moment you add a second person, and a two-seat minimum is how a team of one ends up paying for two.

Do you take a cut of my invoices?

No. Payments run through your own Stripe account and the money goes straight to you. We never touch it and we do not add a percentage.

Can I get my data out?

Every table exports to CSV at any time, including after you cancel. No proprietary format, no export fee, no support ticket needed.

How do I cancel?

From the Stripe billing portal in Settings, in about two clicks. Paid plans run to the end of the current period and then drop to Free.
