These are complete files, not previews. Download them, change them, put your own name on them and use them without creating an account — and without ever telling us who you are. There is no email gate, because a template behind a form is an advertisement with a file attached.
What a template cannot do is stay current when the project changes. The invoice does not know which hours you have already billed; the capacity plan does not know that a deadline moved on Tuesday. Keeping those in step is what Freshlance is for, and it is the only thing we are asking you to consider.
Every file downloads on click. Nothing asks who you are, before or after.
Word and Excel formats, and native ODT and ODS generated for LibreOffice — not renamed copies of the Microsoft files.
Real sample content and working formulas, so you can see what a finished one looks like before you start.
Nothing in these files calls home, checks a licence or stops working. Once downloaded they are yours.
If a client is about to say yes, start with the Proposal Template and the Scope of Work. The second one is the document that decides, in week six, whether a request is work you already agreed to do.
If you are already working, the Timesheet and the Capacity Planner answer the two questions that never stop being asked — what can I invoice, and when can I start something new.
And when a project ends, the Project Profitability Spreadsheet tells you what it actually paid per hour. If you would rather have the quick version in the browser, the free calculators cover the same arithmetic without a download.
A file is right on the day you fill it in. Freshlance tracks the same hours, scope and money against the project as it actually runs.
