What it does

  • Draft → Sent → Partial → Paid → Overdue, derived from payment history
  • Partial payments with a per-invoice payment ledger
  • Credit notes reduce the balance of the invoice they reference
  • Recurring schedules: weekly / monthly / quarterly / yearly
  • Schedules catch up across missed periods on next app load
  • Multi-currency with stored exchange rates per invoice
  • PDF export via print stylesheet, no server-side rendering
  • Public pay-by-link on every invoice, no client login
How status is derived
  1. 1
    Status is never stored

It is computed from the payment ledger every render, so it can never disagree with the payments.

  2. 2
    Partial on first payment

Any payment landing sets the invoice to partial. Overdue is layered on top if the due date has passed.

  3. 3
    Paid when balance clears

Balance = total − sum of payments − credit notes applied. Zero balance = paid.
